What is Psychotherapy?
Psychotherapy is a structured, confidential process with a trained mental health professional that helps you explore your thoughts, feelings, and behaviours and develop strategies to support your well-being.
Psychotherapy provides structured, confidential support for a wide range of emotional and mental health concerns.
Psychotherapy may be appropriate for individuals and couples experiencing challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma/PTSD, ADHD, OCD, stress or burnout, relationship issues, or life transitions. It can also be part of integrated care with psychiatry.
It focuses on exploring thoughts, feelings, and behaviours, building coping strategies, and supporting overall well-being. It does not replace medical or psychiatric care, but can be an important part of integrated mental health support.
Sessions are typically 50 minutes and can be scheduled virtually or in-person. The first session focuses on understanding your concerns, discussing goals, and planning next steps. Frequency and duration of therapy are tailored to your needs, and sessions are confidential.
You can request an appointment online through our booking platform HERE or contact V Hope Clinics directly.
Sessions are available virtually or in-person, and initial appointments are typically available as soon as possible.
Individual psychotherapy sessions are $159 per 50 minutes, and couples therapy sessions are $179 per 50 minutes.
Sessions are not covered by OHIP, but receipts are available for private insurance reimbursement.
